About a year ago, someone had a post about .429 cal pointed bullets. If I remember correctly, they were made by a small custom maker. I have lost the link to the manufacturer. If anyone can help me I would be gratful.
Thanks,Jeff

Lone Eagle, Sorry I took so long to reply, but my computer was down. The company you are looking for is Northern Precisions, 329 S. James St. Carthage, NY 13619. Bill's phone # is 315-493-1711. I wish everyone that has a .44 or .444 would try these bullets. There is a huge range in weights and you have two jacket thickneses to choose from. Any bullet can be ordered either bonded or not. For prctice Bill sells the same bullet in lead with a zinc washer to stop leading. have fun Ed

Now that sounds very interesting! What sort of bullet weights and loads have you used with these in 44mag? What results over the chronograph, and especially what results on game? Details man! I have two wonderful 44mag hunting and target pistols and I'd love to try something different to re-captivate my interest in 44mag

Sean, These are the most acurate .44 bullets I have ever used. The load I use might not be the best in your guns, so just use the powder you like and work it up to max. The bonded bullets are unbelievable on game. The open up great and hold there weight. With the .444 I've taken a 7' black bear in Alaska and a Bison in Texas. Out of the .444 using a 350 gr spiral point I'm getting 1850fps from a 15" contender.

I have tried there number several times this last week and keep getting a disconected message. It is possible they have moved or are no longer in buisness.

Lone Eagle, I got in touch with Bill. They are in the process of getting a new line and phone number. The new number is 315-493-0714. Give it a couple of days to get hooked up. The best time to reach him is after 6:00pm. He dosen't have a web sight. Ed
