My local gun shop has a new 329PD, looks like a nice woodswalking gun. I know it's incredibly light weight so I have know intention of shooting stiff Magnum loads threw it. Do any of you own or shot 1 before?

I've got a 329. It's super nice to carry. You hardly know you've got it on................but not so nice to shoot with mag ammo

I took this doe several years ago with the 329

I tested one pretty thoroughly a few years ago and it was shear pleasure to carry due to the light weight. Now, despite the horror stories I had heard, I found that even with stiff loads (320s at around 1,300 fps or thereabouts), the recoil was underwhelming. I don't care for the HiViz sight, but that can be remedied. Don't know how they hold up in the long term.

Must take that with a grain of salt knowing from where it came ;-)

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

I have the 325 PD. Shoots great but not one you would want to shoot al day. Like was said it is a pleasure to carry. You can actually tell when it is loaded due to the increase in weight. Recoil with the 45acp is not bad at all with the Hogue grips.
