If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

I have a Redfield Illuminator, circa 1983, that has the TV reticle. I like it other than the fussy eye relief.

I think the scopes were called Realist from some research I have done. Several of them are the plum brown color. They were imported from '65-'74, my 1974 Shooters Bible has Leupold 3x9 scope was $104 Realist 3x9 scope was $103, not just another cheap Japanese scope.

Another brand they had was Revelation.Hope this helps.

Doesn't numerich(sp) have a section of their catalog that cross references store brand guns and scopes with their respective major gun manufacturer? I have an old Sears Ted williams pump 20 gauge, first gun I ever bought. Bought it from my cousin for 30.00. It was brand new and Sears carried them. I replaced a part on it a few years ago and used my numerich catalog( which I lent out 2 years ago and have not seen it since) to figure out Winchester made the gun and Winchester still made the part. CHeck Nuemrich out. I think you can google it and I believe they have an onlibe catalog.

Darrel, I just googled armsport scopes and this is one thing I found. Someone selling their scope. Heres the add.

This rare scope was made in Japan and was purchased used over 38 years ago. The scope has been stored inside the house in a old scope box. I will ship this item within the U.S. for only 13.99! I have rings and mounts available for an additional 35.00 if anyone is interested. The scope is in great condition. Note: I have the original paperwork and this item was sold in 1993 for an U.S. $ 200.61!! WHAT IS IT WORTH TODAY?
