We got on the topic of shooting gloves on another thread, and I think it is a topic worthy of discussion. What type of shooting gloves do you use? The ones I use the most are by a company called Pro Aim, and they feature an exposed trigger finger and thumb, and a plastic wrist brace. Here is a picture of the right glove (sorry about the photo quality).

I have a pair of Pact's but I seldom use them.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

I use weight lifting gloves. Fingers cut out and padded hand. My wife uses gel padded bike gloves, for riding Mt bikes. they would work good also.

Granted I don't have any seriously hard kickers like that cannon that Whit is displaying, but for me I just use a set of FootJoy winter golf gloves. No real padding to speak of but they give a little extra grip and keep my palm from getting rashed by some of the grips.

I use the Pro-Aims also. The exposed trigger finger allows me to feel the "glock" style triggers on my Competitors. They are really nice shooting gloves.

I like the Pacts, but I take the padding out. Can't get used to that hump with the padding ;^) Makes them more like regular leather gloves, so I do not have to worry quite as much about having that particular pair, or my POI goes wonky. I always have a leather pair in my Jeep, so I always have "proper" gloves.
