I have a 7-30 Water, shooting 120gr Nosler BT. I am looking at a hog hunt. range would be within 100yds. Should I use a heavier bullet or a bullet like a Partition, Barnes, Swift, etc.
you might be marginal on velocity with the Barnes. You normally lose velocity with the barnes stuff anyways and the 7-30 isn't a screamer. I'd look at either the 140gr Partition or Accubond.
