We got back to civilization last evening and we all got our bears. Mark Key (trademark) got the largest one but all were great bears. Pics in a few days.  Alaska Photo Album

Ok here is mine - I still have a bunch of photos to download but I thought I would post this one here. Mine was the 3rd largest at 18 6/16th and was 6-6 1/2 ft.

What a hunt that would be.
Did you do any crabbing or shrimping while you were there? Nope just hunting - that was a full-time job. It starts getting daylight around 3:30-4 and by 4:15 there is plenty of light to see to shoot. It gets dark about 9:15. By the time you get something to eat and take care of the camp chores it's 11-12 and 4:15 comes early... The other hunters we talked to in the airport weren't nearly as successful because, based on the description of their hunts, they were not putting in a full day and a lot of them went home with tag soup.
