What does everyone think of the new revolver S&W is coming out with. If it does what they say I want one. A revolver thta can shoot flat out to 200 yds, WOW. My Raging Bull .480 needs a brother. And .45 colt and .454 casull. Just reading it I want one

i like the idea of shoting all three out of the same gun but price i cant do but if it comes out as an encore barrel i would get one in a 15 incher

Being able to shoot 200 yards and having enough accuracy at 200 with a hunting bullet are two different things. We'll have to wait and see if they shoot well enough to be effective at that distance.

in the most recent edition of petersens Hunting there is an article on the 460. according to the author he zeroed at 200yds with 3, 5 shot groups averaging 3.68". while hunting in illinois they took three deer at 35, 160, and 224 yds. I have one on order but the smith & wesson rep. expects it to take 3 to 5 months and there still unsure of what my cost will be.

let me first i'll say i am a BIG S&W fan (own a 100 of them)
but i can't see their double acton frame taking that kind of punishmnet.
i hope they can prove me wrong
