Am I the only one who reads American Hunter here? Since I don't live stateside, I get my copies weeks after they're published. Anyway, the current edition contains a great article on handgun hunting, by Max Prasac - a k a our own Whitworth. It's a terrific read and you find it here.

Though I fully understand it, my only issue would be that the article is a bit defensive - living in Europe, where handgun hunting generally is prohibited, I know more than most of the idiotic ideas about it floating around even among avid (rifle) hunters. In the US, though, it's legal in most states which is a big difference. But apparently, many prejudices abound stateside as well. The article counters all the negative arguments extremely well and also promotes the sport very nicely. It's certainly worth reading!

Tremendous article! I just browsed it quickly and will devote some more time to it tomorrow after church.

Has to be one of the best articles explaining the rationale behind handgun hunting and countering all the negatives people throw up.

I've complained to the editors several times about their lack of handgun articles(thought I was the only one doing so?) over the years but, still not much in this magazine? Glad for this one.

If I remember correctly Handguns Magazine used to have a handgun hunting article in every issue but a few years ago they just stopped so I stopped my subscription. By the way good article whit but not enough mentioned about jacketed bullets
