Does anyone know how I can find detailed Freedom Arms M83 take-down info? I've worked on Ruger Blackhawks alot but, I'm a bit hesitant about taking one of these apart.

I don't but it's not too bad except for the parts that lift out with the hammer when you pull the hammer pivot pin. There are a lot of moving parts in that one...

if you can handle taking apart the blackhawk the FA is easier, just go slow and pay attention to the parts orientation as you dissasemble.

ESPECIAlly THAT LITTLE PART THAT FITS IN THE HAMMER SECTION that looks like a "tear drop." With a sharpened edge.

Very very important even though it looks so INSIGNIFICANT. Guess how I know...

sixgunner454,

In all seriouness, I found some stuff on the internet that was helpful (that was a while back; sorry I do not have a link for it) but if you call Freedom Arms, they may be able to help you out; they have always been real good when I called them with a problem.
