Nope, plowed the arena, sprayed weeds & mowed the yard. Now off to the grocery store for my weekly shopping.
I need to recoup (reload ammo & clean guns) from the "get-together" a couple of weeks ago.

It's more important where you hit 'em, than what you hit 'em with.

It's not too bad if you go in the morning. It's about 100 here today too.

nope, I went shooting the other day to test a couple guns and test the 458 Lott pistol. We are going on vacation the end of the month which means a week in the middle of nowhere in the mountains on my inlaws property. We'll be campin for 7 days as there are no buildings except an outhouse on the property. I'll be taking a few guns with me to play with and hunt rattlers, the last 4 days cougar and bear season will be open again so I'll be doing some glassing but more than anything else I want to relax.
I won't be wronged. I won't be insulted. I won't be laid a-hand on. I don't do these things to other people, and I require the same from them. John Wayne-The Shootist

I shot 3 mags thru my Ruger 22/45 at the range. That was all I could stand in this heat.

Yes, I did. Not only did I shoot, but I went squirrel hunting this morning. First time to ever hunt squirrel on 4th of July!
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

I didn't go shooting, but did pop a marauding rodent here on the property with a .22 hollow point...
Also worked on 2 different guns. And threw some shrimp tails (after the feast) off of the deck and the local garbage fox came and helped himself, while we watched.
Probably the most relaxing part of our day was spent with our horses, right at sundown.

I didn't shoot today, but I did go pick up my new to me FA 97 in 22lr/22mag and oogled over it while I was at work (yesterday I loved my job, paid time and a half and stared at a new to me gun). The rest of the day was spent de-cluttering the house at my wife's direction.

I went last weekend and shot my CZ 452 American and sighted it in. Shot the Ruger MKIII Hunter and FA83 in .44 magnum. However, I did reload 100 cartridges for the .44 magnum. 7.5 gr of Titegroup under a 240gr LSWC on the Dillion 550B.

99-110* for weeks here so no shooting and like Kyode, think about it everyday. I've a few barrels that need range time as bad as I do.
