and what powder are you using? I'd like to load some for this with either 2400 or Unique? Yes, I know H110 or Win.296 would probably be better. Steve

I use SSK 310 gr. cast, very similar, with 21.5 gr. WW296 in Rugers and Dans.

If we are talking about the 44 cal 310gr mold, yes I do... LOL
I have several loads that I am getting 1400+ fps out of with my 9.5in SRH. Powders include H110, AA#9, 2400, LiL Gun, 4227, and Blue Dot.

I use Beartooth 300's with 296, It has a simliar shape, I believe the lee has a slightly longer nose. Have used, 300mp, imr4227 but came back to 296 for my 4 in smith, 21 to 21.5 grains,
I will leave primers out of it, dont wanna start any debates,

The BTB 300 gr wfn 11to 11.6 gr of hs6 for 1100 to 1150 works well also of course for speed h110.In the 44.

I also use H110 with the Lee in 44. It shot well in the SBHH barrel, but I haven't messed with it much since I rebarreled it. When I get the barrel back I am going to mess with that bullet more. I was using 23.5 gr., but never checked the velocity.

I use 21.5 gr of 296 for the best accuracy. No argument on primers, I use Fed 150 primers.
