Ever since I read a post from wapitirod this morning, I've changed my life goal. It USED to be that I wanted world peace, and to end hunger, and get rid of PETA, and to end the Democrat party... yeah yeah yeah...

But now that I know Rod has the ability to make a 458 Lott barrel for an Encore, my SOLE PURPOSE from THIS DAY FORWARD shall be to see a coyote shot end to end with one of those!!!!

Coyote is a small mangy dog, that bad boy should go end-to-end on a Cape buffalo!

I can't top the Lott, but here's a groundhog shot end to end with a 270 Solid that I was testing to take my hippo with last year. It worked! .375/.284 XP

No Lott experience, but a 375JDJ + coyote equals no meat in the pot or hide on the rack ;^)

Someone's shooting a hippo end to end? :-D

The God who gave us such a beautiful land, wonderful game, and the sport of hunting is worth knowing.

The trick is to be consistant enough with it to be able to hit anything smaller than an M1 Abrams at 100yds. I'll be taking to eastern OR with me the end of next week and see what kind of groups I can get out of it. I only have one bullet loaded for it right now but hopefully it will come together. The load is the 400gr Alpha LaFrank soft point spitzer at 2275fps. I have shot coyotes up there before so who knows maybe you'll get your wish. I could shoot a rattler with it but It would probably take a yard of ground with it.

Yes; are we not blessed to have so many choices in life's priorities?
;\)

I killed a coyote with my .375 JDJ Contender in 1987; I have a pic, but the shot wasn't endo endo. As you guys say: DRT.

Can't shoot a hippo end to end. I tried. Here's entrance

And here's the final result. The 270 gr. solid was about 6-7 feet in him in the stomach
