a couple of the other forums im on have a ongoing post about things people have done to their ________ (bikes, boats, cars). so why cant we do the same with our hobby? pictures would be great. Not asking you to advertise your collection if you dont want, it is understandable if you want to keep that private. not expecting new post daily but we may be able to pass around some good ideas. Right now im finishing up painting a rear bag bar for my XLR stocked 7WSM striker. Changed the grip over as well. That is a 1911 conversion for a AR. I like the 1911 grip angle

I installed a Ken Light UAS reverse scope base and a 3-9x rifle scope on my 13" MGM 7-30 Waters tube this weekend for long range hunting. Can't find my card reader so will post pic later.
Rod, too.

I am SLOOOOOOOWLY putting together an Encore Pro Hunter in 460 Smith and Wesson. Frame is supposed to be delivered today. Hope to pick it up tomorrow as I won't make it in before they close today cause of work.
I have a custom forend coming from tonysforendsandgrips.net, another used forend from another member here, and I just recieved the stock one that has been opened up by bullberry to accept full bull barrels. The 14" stainless full bull barrel made by MGM will have a brake on it and will wear a VXIII scope.
Can't WAIT to see this puppy completed!!!

Put a bunch of rounds through my Springfield Operator 45ACP, and put even more rounds through "Thunder" 6.5-06 Specialty Pistol from 50 something to 1100+ yards. Thunder was cleaned twice a day. Being in the dirt prone with the SP with a lot with wind and heat in the mid to upper 90's wasn't easy on them.

Here is a pic of my new "long" range 7-30 Waters rig that I put together this past weekend. The Ken Light UAS mount and the 6" of eye relief of the Bushnell 3-9x allow me to use near a normal handgun hold even with the rifle scope. So far I like it, 6" of eye relief should keep me from getting bloody.
Rod, too.

Shot my two rear grip strikers last night. The 6brx was to verify zero after a missed chip shot monday. It was right on the money. Also shot some 140's out of the 7WSM. One three shot group was .38 not to bad and can go higher in the charge. Speed and es was not what i was expecting. Pushing them faster might help the es not sure. Speed was only 2680. Try another powder to i guess.

36 rounds through my new RSBH 44 yesterday evening. First time with a sore hand from shooting. Middle finger on my trigger hand took the brunt. I've got the sights dialed in with 240 grain hunting loads. Also, a 10.5 inch bull barrel and an unfluted cylinder can hold some serious heat.

Shot the 7WSM striker with some 140 VLD's but forgot the Chronograph. No pressure signs and good accuracy. Going to up charge and make sure chrony is with me. Sighted in 22/45 with 4x m8 at 25 yards. Also shot the smokeless striker but something is going on with that one. Going to tear it down tonight possibly put on differant scope.

I have done nothing yet today, but as soon as it is light enough to shoot, I'll being doing my drops out to 700 on the new aluminum stocked 6 BRX. Then load the rest of our gear up, finish stocking the trailer and head for Wyoming bright and early sunday morning.
The other day I removed the stock trigger and installed a Dell Taylor target trigger, had to fire up the die grinder and remove some material to make it all fit, so far it has proven to be a "Shooter".
The good Lord gives us "Life" a "Window Of Opportunity" what we do with this opportunity, defines who we are and what we become.

I got in some target practice, and am soooooooo ready for deer season to open! A few guys at the hunt club shot my Ruger today, and were really amazed at how accurate a handgun could be. Gotta give it one good cleaning before season, and I should be good to go come Oct 20!
