I just purchased what I hope is a Deer killin machine. Got a new Smith & Wesson 629 Performance Center .44 mag. Great trigger and balance. I hope to put a few rounds through it before the weekend to see how it shoots......

TCTex, Here's some pics....haha.... It came with 2 grips so I tried the rubber grip to see how I liked it... feels good. Do you think the 44 Mag will shake the TruGlo red dot to pieces?

My experience with that TruGlo scope was on a 20 ga. slug gun and it didn't turn out well, but it was a lightweight slugger that kicked like a mule. You may be OK with it on the PC--hope so. I have a Trijicon holo sight on my 629 PC and performs well. Probably will go with same one on Stealth.

Cool gun. I bet your excited to see what it will do on the range. By the way, my vote is for the wood grips ;^) Well at least wear them to the barbeques........

Sometimes it is entirely appropriate to kill a fly with a 12 pound sledgehammer!
