So today was like Christmas in September...actually, Wednesday was like Christmas in August, as after a long 6 month wait, my tax stamp had been approved and my 7.62 YHM Ti suppressor was picked up from my Class 3 dealer. So like the kid on a rainy Christmas day, I was forced to wait until I could play with my new toy.

Here's a pic of my fast twist SSK Whisper barrel and the new baby!

So I loaded up the factory subsonic 208 AMax first - the first shot (FRP) was like a whoosh of air, followed by the big bullet smacking the plyboard backstop. Oh my. The "thwack" on target was the loudest noise heard.

The 300 Screamer load suppressed was certainly hearing safe, registering somewhere around a 22 LR. And it shot OK...
;\)

(In the interest of full disclosure, that is a 40 yard 3-shot group.)

My main hog/deer tracts are in NC, which makes it a no-no for the canned Whisper on game, but rest assured I have some SC tracts to make sure the "canned hammer" gets to Whisper sweet nothings here shortly...it's on! Quietly.

Dur, I have a real gut feeling you don't like hogs. However, I know you will give them a sporting chance and close one eye:)

That's sweet. I'm gonna get a can for my whisper when I don't have to move anymore.

Now, you've got the real deal. Not only will it work on 'hogs, but I know for a fact it will do groundhogs, squirrels, deer, turkeys, 'coons, possums. Also know a guy that did a big black bear. You're now in the ranks of the Whisperer's.
