Today I was able to shoot/sight in a 7mm-08 encore I have toyed with. I shot out to about 80 yards with a rest. Man this thing really wants to shoot! I mostly need to tighten up the "Nut" behind the pistol grip. ME. It has a 15" barrel and 2-6x bushnell. I am shooting a load or varget behind 120 gr ballistic tips. It is hevier than my contender in 7mmTCU. Very manageable recoil, even compared to 7mmTCU. I always enjoy hunting deer. I think a few varmints are on the near schedule for this pistol to practice. I might even sell a few encore rifle barrels now that I may not need them! Mingokid.

7-05 my first SP. Loved it.

just put my barrel back on the frame. my first SP as well and taken a couple deer with it. great round! and good bullet/powder combo. thats what I use as well and its worked good to 300 yards so far

It's starting to sound like a broken record, but...the Encore in 7-08 was my first SP as well. Shooting 120 gr BT's over IMR 4350.
