The posts are all great. I did not hear too many 1911's or berretta, etc. If i went over to a combat action site, it would be all about Glocks, Kimbers, and others such as this.

Mine is my dream gun that's being built. But in the meantime I go back and forth between my super black hawk 44 mag customized by JD Jones which I have carried with me into the woods for many many years and have taken mucho deer with it and my somewhat new bisley hunter in 45 colt. But then there is my contender in 6.5 JDJ which I have killed more game with it then any other handgun. Dang it's hard to decide.

I'm gonna lump all my FA's in the "favorite handgun" bucket, since most responders have listed more than one. Although the M97 .41 has a certain appeal...
And Kingfisher - run away from this topic and Ernie's response. FAST. Debt awaits...  You are a damn bad influence on me, Dur, but you warned me....I just purchased an XP-100 in a .358 Win, custom with fluted barrel w/brake, Leupy 2.5 scope. Thanks, Pal.....

I tried... And as far as XP's go, you think I'm bad? Ignore bfr4570 and Ernie and punkinslinger and Darrell H and the rest of the SS "pushers". They'll have you wanting a full built custom in no time...with super slick LR glass on there. And next thing you know, you've purchased 2 XP's and converted none, waiting for that next "good deal" for a harvest action.
