I have been wondering.....
Ruger has convertible single action revolvers....45 colt/.45 acp etc. Are the tolerances looser in convertibles so that it will be easier to time for both cylinders? I like the idea of having the 2nd cylinder for palying with but not at the expense of accuracy. Has anybody have an idea on this matter?

there is no difference between the two cylinders, they both will be within normal factory specs.

There really isn't any timing adjustment involved. The only differences in convertibles are the sizes of the holes. You could interchange cylinders of different bores within the same family and they will function fine, although wouldn't suggest shooting them.

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.
