I am hunting this year with a Gary Reeder barrel in 41 GNR for my tender and a 15" TC Custom shop 30 TCU. I have been reading about MR Reeders 6.5 Raptor and am very interested in one. Do any of you shoot them?? What kind of accuracy??? How hard is the brass to form??? THanks Robbie

I have been shooting the 257 Raptor for three years and it has become one of my favorites. I shoot a 100 grain Sierra at 2575 fps. and the accuracy is very good. Here is a three shot group at 200 yards that measures 1.060"

I have had a few Reeder barrels in both the Encore and Contender platform. What I can tell you is that every one of them would shoot.

What I can tell you is that “I” cannot own another Reeder product. That statement is a personal one so don’t read into it.

What I will tell you is that ask for two dove tails on your barrel.
