I recently acquired a used T/C Contender barrel in 41 Mag, and with deer season quickly approaching don't really have time to work up loads. I was hoping to get some feed back on favorite recipes to use/try on deer and feral hogs.

Deer: 200 gr. Rem. HP, 21.0 gr. WW296
Hogs 210 gr. Horn HP-XTP, 20.5 gr. WW296.
Killed lots of deer with both. Horn. is tougher, better for hogs.

Ditto on Doc's load data...

And the factory Speer GDHP's work well on both deer and hogs too!

If you are a registered member you can access the load data under the Member Services tab. There are a few for the .41 Maggie.

Rod, too.

Thanks to everyone who responded. Since I already have both of the Remington bullets on hand, as well as the Hornady's, I should be able to load up some of each with Doc's recipe before Nov 3rd.

Thanks again,

Brett
