I'm in Guthrie. I haven't hunted in twenty years, but am now getting back into the sport. Rifle and archery hunting just doesn't interest me any more, but handgun hunting . . . now that's something that's got my attention.

Now, if I can just find a suitable 7-30W Contender.

Just a heads up on Ed. I.ve bought several barrels from him in the past and have been satisfied with the service. Ordered one last Tues. am and paid with my cc as usual. CC hit my account next day. I'm still waiting on the barrel. BTW, I only live about 2hrs N of OKC. Don't know if his regular job is tying him up or he's got a case of the 'get to it one of these days'. I've always got them before withen 2days of ordering, so hopefully this is one of those glitch's that happens eve so often to us all.

Ed has a regular job he's at monday thru thursday. If you call him he will usually meet you at his shop on friday or saturday.

His regular job is an accountant and it is tax season and I suspect he is busy.

I talked to Ed friday. He said he will be at the gun show in Tulsa on Feb. 23-24. The bad part is i'm working the day shift that weekend!

Anyone going to the Wanamaker show this weekend? Once again i'm going to be working.

Think I will pass this time. Plan on turkey hunting near Alva.

Guys, I'm wanting to try to convince the wildlife department to have a handgun only controlled hunt. I talked to a game ranger this morning and told me to talk to the head of the game commission. Would anyone else be interested in this?
