Got a picture posted. The deer came in from my back side in a hurry i saw him about 70 yds grabbed my Freedom Arme 475 4 3/4 inch barrel and turned inside of a popup blind shot him at about 40yds. He kicked so i thought the shot hit but gave another as he crossed the creek that one missed. i watched as he stopped at the edge of the timber about 125 yds away and lost sight of him. The suspense was killing me as my phone rings a friend that was hunting to the west of me had fired at the deer with a muzzle loader and it kinda went off he figured some cleaning solvent was left in the barell and the bullet went only a few yds pushing the deer towards me. He is wanting to know if i got it i said im pretty sure i hit it and am going to the creek to see if i can find any blood (Mistake). He jumps up and runs about a mile across plowed fields into some timber. The blood trail looked like someone sloshing red paint out of a cup i didnt think he could go far bleeding like that. It took about 30 mins to contact the proper landowner to get permission to walk in and see about recovering the deer. I had given up and as we were leaving we walk back to the gator and see him laying under a tree.He was bigger than i thought i didnt take time to look at size before i shot he was running. The shot got one lung and exited low on the other side.

Congrats in your first handgun trophy!
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.
