Where are my fellow MS handgun hunters?

And what are y'all using and in what part of the state?

Here's what I'll be shooting, traded into this Reeder southern comfort, it was the personal pistol of Rod huelter of Dixie firearms. He did some additional action work. I'm trading withRod for the pistol and he's writing me up the additional work he did.

I'm in north-central MS. Pretty much where I do all my hunting within the State. I use multiple different types and styles of handguns (have to check bragging board). I hunt deer, turkey, squirrel, rabbit, coon and varmints all with handguns. When I can, I love leaving to hunts exotics; especially with other handgun'ers. Been hunting with handguns for 25 years; handguns only for 22 years.

I'm in the delta area and I hunt next to the MS river and some in Webster county in the center of the state. I have single shot handguns(encores and xp's) and revolvers(mostly Ruger with one FA). Been hunting with long and short guns together for about 20 years. Handguns only about 10. First deer killed with handgun was with Ruger super blackhawk, iron sights, 45 yards, 5-pt buck, in 1995. I usually carry two guns with me on a hunt(a single-shot for longer range and a revolver for out to 75-100 yds.

Southaven here, and originally from Vicksburg. Building my first hunting pistol in the next month, and moving to back to Alaska later this year.

I came back home to Natchez but didn't get a chance to hunt. Usually hunt Wilkinson, Adams, and Warren counties the most. Brought back a 475 and a few single shots in case we had time but it just wasn't in the cards this trip at Christmas.
