I just ordered the Primos Trigger stick in the long version. I occasionally still hunt but mostly stand hunt.

Anyone else use this stick from a stand? How do you like it?

I've used them but they are a little too heavy to carry around to suit my tastes.

I have a set but other than at the range I haven't used them yet. I agree with Gary they are a little heavy for long hikes although still not as heavy as a rifle. They should be great on a stand.

Thanks guys. I will give them a try and hopefully report back with a successful story.

I have a camera monopod (cheaper model $20) that I screwed a V holder (I forget the manufacturer) onto the top. These tend to be a bit larger diameter, are lighter, and have clip adjustments versus the twist to loosen, which for me always go bad.

I use one from walmart that I paid 9.99 for but when going through the brush the V part seems to unscrew and falls off,I've had this happen with two of them,so the 2nd one I took some light metal drilled in the middle of it ,nut and bolt through the middle and JB weld around nut and bolt and put a couple of pieces of leather on both sides of the V and electrical tape around both sides and haven't had any problems since-john

I really like the single and use them as walking stick there are many try them out if you can but the Primos are the fastest of the commercially made ones.

You can't fix stupid!

Love mine. Just shot a deer from stand using mine. I just got and used the tree stand foot accessory made for this stick. It has a flat foot and a flexing collar, works great.
