I have a new model Bisley Blackhawk in 41 magnum 6"bbl that has been rather disapointing in the accuracy dept. I have tried bullet wts of 200, 210,Rem, GD & XTP, cast 240 and 255gr. with 4227, 296 and h110 The cylinder chambers have been trued .412 and trigger job done. Groups are around 3-5"@20 yds off a bench is there anything left to consider?

Have you gauged the cylinder throats? That gun should shoot nearly one hole groups at 20 yards.
The only other thing I can think of is that perhaps the "timing" is a bit off.
The gun might need a trip back to Ruger..!

The gun might need a trip back to Ruger..! With the work he has done they may not take it back for inspection. Send it to Rod. He redid my .41 Magnum with all factory parts but to tighter specs and made a substantial difference.

Das,
Have you checked the crown carefully for dings? I am guessing that if you had the chambers done your gunsmith would have checked the barrel for constriction at the frame, but if not I would certainly want to know that your barrel is not chocked badly.

it could have a crown or forcing cone issue but i've also seen twisted frames on new revolvers and and cylinders bored off center.

When I had the cylinder done the gunsmith brought all the throats up to one size as they varied a bit .410-411+. I hope I can find his info he was recommended by someone on this site but it been over 1-1/2 years ago however it was just the cylinder I sent to him the entire gun has not been checked out yet. The gun was purchased by my father inlaw in 1995 and I got it after he passed away so it isn't new just nearly unfired.

I still believe that your best option is to send the gun back to Ruger for a complete "physical"..

I took mine in and had a full action job and trigger lightening, 11 degree target crown cut after shortening the barrel and a smith and wesson fiberoptic front sight installed. It is the sweetest shooting revolver i own. It likes 250 grn hard cast.
