not sure why they're so blurry but this exit wound is the far offside shoulder of the "mellow" federal barnes load. below is the hide. the exit wound is over 2" wide. not bad for a bullet that expands to about an inch and is only 250gr.

that load chronies at 1740 out of a 7.5" FA 83 and runs about 80 fps less out of the ruger srh 454 it was shot out of.

Nice job.
I have a hog hunt booked for the 25-26th of jan and can't wait. Just finished reloading 5 different loads using the Barnes Buster 325 gr. in S&W 460 brass. Installed the UltraDot Matchdot off of my Buckmark onto the 460 and will sight it in this weekend as well as testing the new rounds.
