Just picked up an XP-100. Looks to be a nice a gun, if I could find some 7mm BR brass I might be able to confirm that??? I can't find any it in stock anywhere online? Anyone else shooting an xp-100 in 7mm BR? What kind of groups are you getting with the factory barrel?

I shot you an email, Dan. Did you have an xp100 or Encore in the BR? Ever have any luck with it as a deer round?

The 7BR in an XP or Encore is a good deer/antelope/varmint round. I have two of the XP's and the one with a HS Prescision stock has taken two antelope, one deer and many coyotes and some prairie dogs. I shoot nothing but 120grn Ballistic Tips.
I used to shoot the Sierra Pro Hunter in 120 grn and it was a good deer round but ran out of them and found a great deal onthe Ballistic Tips. Here is a photo of my neighbor that went with me to Wyoming. He had never shot an XP until two weeks before the hunt and took him to the range a couple of times. He shot this goat at 235 yds with a Ballistic Tip resting on his back pack. Dropped right there.

If you need more than Dan has in the 7BR brass, let me know. I had a bag of 100 around here that a guy wanted about a month back by never made contact again. Dan will do you right.

I replied back to the PM you had sent. Gave you my cell to text or call me. The bag in my cabinet has 48 pieces of new brass in it....not sure where the other two went!

I have a 7mmBR with stock barrel and a Rem custom shop stock they offered after they stopped production of the XP. I shoot 100 gr sierra HP with H332 for varmits and it will shoot .25MOA if I do my part. It is also a decent deer cartridge with 120gr bullets out to 200 yds.

I'd like to ask you a question since you're into the Rem XP100. Do you have any ideas of anyone that offers some nice stocks either wood or synthetic for a reasonable price? I recently got a deal on one in 221 fireball with factory plastic stock and want something differant. Thanx!

Yea. Looks good.

Rod, too.

Aaron hasn't started production yet. Mine is a prototype.
$200 range (more or less) is where I THINK they will be priced.
Don't hold me to that though.

It might be a little long for a 10.75" barrel though
