Well deer season is over and that means a couple or three things. Goose season till the end of the month. Probably going in the morning. Turkey season and time to chase pigs with a pistol! If nothing happens we will make our annual pilgrimage to Wilderness hunting lodge to chase pigs and have a good time.
We go in April so the weather is generaly nice. Temps in the 40s early in the morning and usualy not over 65 during the day.
Usualy about this time we start trying to figure out what to carry. I am leaning toward my Flat top Bisley .44 Special with the Keith load. My .460 Rowland will be my back up and also the fighting gun if we get in a bad situation which I have done a couple of times.
Last thing I think Matt said was he was taking his Harton old model converted to .44 Special and possibly his Old Flat top .44 Mag. If any of you fellers don't have anything to do in April we would love for you to join us. Pigs and pistols. Don't get any better than that unless its possums and pistols.
