I opened up a copy of GunDigest earlier this evening when surveying magazines that I needed to read and took a double take...I recognize that fella!  Congratulations to Darrell for the second page coverage, and to Max for the additional exposure on a great read! FWIW DH, I think the cover woulda been appropriate - that bear is an awesome handgun trophy!

Hey! I do recognize that guy! That's the guy that's been sleeping with my wife!  I appreciate all of your comments guys but the bear is the celebrity! He causes wonderment wherever he goes. My brother brought him home from the taxidermist in the back of his truck.  We came right through the town square of Ellijay, GA in the middle of the annual apple festival. The square was packed with pedestrians and you should have seen the reaction of the crowd as we came through. Everyone with a camera, camcorder, or iphone immediately pointed it at the bear.... he was an instant celebrity! Since I got him home, I've had folks who have never visited me before come by my house "to see the bear". Thanks for the post SChunter and thanks Max for sharing my bear story with the world! Darrell
