I ran into a Tasco 30MM fixed 7x Pistol Scope with target knobs at local gunshop. I paid him $100.00 and took it home. I got to tell ya I really like it! I use it on my XP100 7mmBR Sil Gun so it hasn't seen much heavy recoil, but it has has had 400-500 rds through it and is still fine. Even some full power 160 ram loads. I located another one in fixed 6X with a target dot and bought it for my 22LR Sil gun a T/C contender and have been shooting 40's every since.
I've never heard anyone on the forum talk about these. Is there something I should know?
I have had one of them in 7X with target knobs for about 8 years...paid 79 bucks for it as I recall in a little shop in NC, It is very clear glass and I have had it on many contender barrels in some light calibers and some heavy kickers. I use it on some varmit calibers for long range work and on the new barrels for load development for the accuracy. It has served me well and the only thing I can say that I don't care for about it is the critical eye relief in some shooting positions when varmit hunting with it. Pretty good glass for the bucks..if you like the higher magnification...I also had a 7X and 5X Burris that shared the same attributes but cost a LOT more money.

Hey Bill...I've got five or six of these in 4X with the target knobs. Some have the dot while others have the standard plex reticle. I did have a 6X but foolishly sold it a couple years ago. Great scopes and I buy everyone I can find!! A fella found me a stash of them in OH about eight years ago and I bought all three NIB scopes the shop had...paid $150 for all of them with shipping included.
I'm with Dan B on this one. I think they are the most underrated scopes because of the name. I have two in 'dot' configuration and love them, but mine are only 3x and 4x.
