In a few weeks I will turn thirty. Not to big of a deal to me, but is to family members. A few years ago I had the pleasure of divorcing myself from my worst mistake ever. My ex was a nightmare and the only good thing out of that marriage was my daughter who is six.

Anyway, on with the birthday stuff. My daughter and fiance came home last night with a huge to me surprise. They got me the NRA edition Ruger LC9. With the new gun issues in Colorado my fiance said she felt like now was the best time to get it for me. This is the best gift my girls could have got me and I feel so very blessed.

Awesome brother, Congradulation!!! Now all that is left to do is take the lady out shooting with the new present.. By the way, Happy Birthday in advance:)

Boy did you ever upgrade in the mate department. Good on ya, and her.

I definitely did upgrade on the mate department. The cool thing is she has a Sig Sauer 380 that she had before I met her. She loves to go shooting. She hadn't done much with rifles before but I put together a really nice contender with a 223 barrel that she loves and shoots really well.
