New toys celebrating "semi-retirement" ....aka unemployed till I pick out a part time job for "mad money"

Photo is of the Colt 1911 rail gun I just picked up in 22lr complete with free RWS pellet gun ad in the case LOL!

Picking up a 29-3 Smith, 6 inch with extras and a new Springfield XDS this coming friday.

From pests to bad guys I should be covered.

Should be lots of fun shooting all three! Hoping to NEED only two of the three but......gun in hand is worth 2 officers on the way. Hilljack country but break-ins are more common than I feel comfortable with. Too old to whup azz anymore!!

A couple things I need to pick up. Bad form perhaps,so forgive me but I have a WTB classifieds posted.

I'll probaby be picking you guy's brains again as I plug along.

She shoots BETTER THAN I DO..lol. (naturally).

A little issue I'm going to call Colt about. The Gold Cup is the only version with an elevation adjustment on the sights. This one shoots a bit low for me the first few days out but switching ammo just in case. Since a "rail gun",no elevation adjustment.


There are after market sights with such but..dang, rather whine and biotch at Colt and see if they can give me other sights or........something.
