If ya plan on a conversion one day, you might wanna tuck one of these away. I did ;-)

The Blackhawk and Super use the same frame, as does the Bisley. The only difference is the grip frame. If you want to make your Super a Bisley, this is where you start. Still need a Bisley hammer and trigger, etc.

yeah the way things are going I wouldn't mess around, Midway had told me before that they didn't expect to get anymore in.

I knew they were still in production because they are still selling the guns but from the way the guy at Midway was talking it almost sounded like they were cutting back production since they aren't a part you really need to replace unless you really screw up. It sounded like they just weren't going to make them in numbers to supply vendors like Midway and Brownells anymore.

I did notice they still don't have the SS ones though.

Which hammer and trigger are best for the conversion? I would prefer Ruger Bisley parts but don't see them offered.

Thanks for posting this up, I ordered as soon as I saw this. I am planning on finally getting rid of the square back on my SB.

Midway and Brownells were out of them but they should list them. You may have to get hold of Ruger, the Ruger parts are the only option.

My google search gave me a Power Custom manufacturer of Ruger Bisley hammers and triggers. Are they relabeling Ruger parts? Thier prices are $170.00 to $199.00 for blued and SS.

I do not want to order the wrong parts. My calls to Ruger never get answered by a live person with no option for leaving messages.

For that they should include the frame as well.

Here, although currently out of stock:

yeah, I thought power custom had dropped them when they dropped making grip frames. That is a rediculous price which is why I never used those parts from them. I didn't look at the link but that also may be the 3 position hammer which is no big deal and definitely not worth that much money. I do use some power custom stuff and it's great but even the stuff I use is more expensive than they should be for what they are.
