I got my order today from cast performance. Ordered 3 boxes of the 440grain wfngc bullets for the 500jrh. Opened up the box, and looked at these massive chunks of lead, and noticed that they have a brass bottom on them.

What's it for?

I thought that is what the blue rings were for.

Anything over 400 is for detaching retnas, separating shoulders and divotting foreheads............I am not flinching when I close my eyes, I am keeping them in their sockets ;^)

NO KIDDING!!! I told my dad about the 440 grain bullet, and that it was just over one ounce of lead. He said, "What in the world are you gonna hunt with that?!" I simply replied...

"Anything I want!"
