Just got my new Magnum Research BFI that I've been Talking about.
All I can say is after shooting ten rounds -----AWSOME!!!!, Recoil is not nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Smooth trigger, lite and crisp. Cant waite to get a red dot or a scope on it!.....Gary

Congrat's!

Rod, too.

Short cuts often lead to long recoveries.

Just a quick tip on the rear sight. When you remove it for the scope base you may find the 2 springs might fall out making re-install at a later date a bit difficult.

Just put a small dab of grease in the "rear sight spring holes" and your springs will stay put making for an easy re-install.

Enjoy that hog and shoot the snot out of it.

Ok, almost forgot---it's a 500 S&W w/ a 7 1/2 inch barrel. I'll get some pictures on this weekend. I barely had time to get some rounds through it before the storms started again. It has stock grips, I have some new ones ordered for it. Now if I can make up my mind on a scope or a reflex sight!!

Congrats! So the .500 isn't bad huh? What ammo did you shoot and what kind of grip did you order?

Oh, don't get me wrong, it'll thump you. Just that ive seen vieos on youtube where the gun almost hits you in the face. I think you have to remember whatyour shooting, It's not a .22I have some Hornady and winchester factory stuff right now, and I'm only shooting a 350 gr bullet. I know It'll be worse if I start using a heavier bullet
