I had a good draw........1 whitetail buck (either/sex) 2 doe deer, 2 doe antelope and 2 cow elk!!!

If I would have drawn an antelope buck I would have had a clean sweep!!!!

I hope to really give the FA 454 a work out this year. BUT then I've got a couple of new to me barrels for my encore that need to be blooded! Not to mention my (my favorite) striker LOL

I can't even imagine having that kind of limitations put on my deer hunting. Glad for those that got drawn though.

ps-we can kill 3 bucks and 300 does a year here

Wyote,

Congrats! Looking forward to many additions to your bragging board.

here it is one blacktail buck forked horn or bigger or you can apply for eastern mulie hunts which can take 3 to 10yrs to draw and if you do that then you can't hunt blacktails so it's basicly one buck a year. We do have antlerless tags and some areas are both sex blacktail with a bow, the antlerless tags are 5 to 15yrs to draw. Elk is general season on the west side and a couple hunts on the east side, mostly bull but your restricted to one elk. Antelope is about 15yrs, black bear and cougar is general. The one thing OR does have is 15% of the draw hunts are on a lottery which is how I hit Antelope the first time I applied, now I'm up to 10 points. My son has never hunted the east side or bowhunted so I'm taking him this year although I may gun hunt for elk.

I drew an elk tag in Colorado, Here in GA we get 10 does and two bucks. If you worked things right you could kill those during the week and still kill another two deer per weekend on WMA check in hunts that don't count toward your regular limit. We also have four months straight to hunt deer. The older I get the more I wish they would shorten our season.

Can't imagine being limited on white-tails but can't imagine what it would be like to have such a variety. Congrats on all you guys who got drawed for what you were after.

All of my antelope hunters drew their tags, and there are licenses left over for that unit.

I just got word from the ranch they are giving me two more spots so if anybody is interested, pm me.

My daughters and I are the lucky ones to come hunting with Gregg in Wyoming as we did draw. This will be the girls' first trip out west to hunt, but I think that I am more excited about them coming along with dad more than anything.

I'm also the proud owner of a Montana mule deer tag this year, so I'm planning on a couple of trips out west from Iowa this year. The Montana trip is with good friends who live up there, and it ends up being more about spending time with them than the hunt. Fall can't get here quick enough!
