Went to the range at lunch with some work buds today. For kicks, I picked up some Hornady 44spl defense ammo for the trip. Ballistics look like this; 165g @ 900 ft/sec.
Shooting my super redhawk from a weaver stance, I shot (by my standards) the most amazing groups, (1.25" @ 10yds...don't laugh)
WHY CAN'T I SHOOT HUNTING ROUNDS THAT WELL!?! lol Oh well, it was still fun and I have reason to practice.

Why not load up some cast Keith style cast bullets to 800-900 fps and see how you shoot? Should make a light recoiling deer load.
