I really don't know if you want a target load or hunting load, but for whitetail I use 35 gr/H4895/WLR and a 125 Nosler Ballistic Tip.

Much to my shame as a reloader the best shooter out of my 14inch 30-30 barrel is plain old 170grain remington corlokt factory ammo. I've tried any number of wieghts and speeds and several of my handloads shoot as well as the corlokt, but none measurably better. It took me 3 years of tinkering with COL and fractional changes in powder charge and projectiles to admit to myself that if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Did you know that there are magical animals roaming wild, converting vegetables into bacon as we speak?

IMR3031 and 150 grain nosler ballistic tips. I had retired my 30-30 until I started reloading. The 150 and 125 NBT are both accurate. I did some bullet testing in wet books and the 125nbt did not stay together. The 150 was great. I shot a 160 pound buck this year and it performed as expected. The deer dropped within sight and if needed had good blood trail. In the past factory ammo didn't do much damage and left slim blood trails. I really enjoy shooting my 30-30 now.

I have a 30-30AI that likes H335 and with either a 125 or 150 NBT. As far as factory stuff goes before I had it rechambered it liked the 150 Winchester the best and it still shoots it rather well when I'm fireforming cases.

One of my all time favorite loads is 150 NBT over W748. I've also had good results with 125 NBT over Varget.
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.

I have two loads that work well in my 30-30 14" contender, 135gr ssp sierra with IMR 4198 and Reloader #7 with a 125gr TNT HP this load is very accurate.

Good luck.. My 10 and 14 inch Contenders love the Barnes 110 TTSX-FB,34.0grains RL-7, CCI200 LRprimers,2240fps from a 10"barrel. Havent chronod the 14". 1" at 100yds. More accurate than some of my rifles.
