I'm new to handgun hunting and am starting with a Ruger SBH but can already tell that a Single Six would be a good training and small game arm. My next step will probably be a TC Contender or Encore and then either a Ruger Redhawk or S&W Model 29. Unless, of course, that Hillary gets elected (God forbid) in 2016 in which case all assets go to 1911's (because there are never enough 1911's in the safe). Now that I think about it I better get all of these BEFORE 2016!

I would say that if you are worried about Hildabeast in 2016 then 1911's aren't the concern. I would think an adequate compliment of AR pattern rifles(2), mags and ammo would be the ticket, as well as the standard capacity mags (15+) for any semi auto firearms that you put on your must have list.

Judging from past panics (Clinton..the first one and Obama), the actual firearms will become available (You will eventually find your XDM or Glock in 45acp, 9mm or whatever caliber), even if there happens to be a big initial panic. What has been hard to come by or is likely to get banned is the magazine.

Load your SBH down and plink with it. Nothing better to practice with than the actual one you're gonna use

oh we forgot, membership on this sight requires you purchase as many handguns as possible just short of causing bankruptcy, divorce on the other hand is at your discretion. I would have gladly traded my ex for the biggest pos handgun on the planet

Get in line Rod....it starts behind me.

I would have gladly made that trade as well, say....for a Jiminez that had been laying in the bottom of the ocean for about 5 years + cash on my part....I still would have come out ahead.
