I wanted to try WFN cast bullets from my .454 Casull. I calibrated bullets with .452" sizer which is well above cylinder throat diameter. Now I know that lead is soft and slight oversize is not a problem but I faced a problem when I was completing my first rounds - due to .452 bullet diameter round was not possible to push fully into the chamber because bullet got stocked in beginning of throat.
Did anybody had experience like this with FA .454 Casull? If yes, could you pls advice me what sizer diameter would be ok for this setup?
Cheers, Igor

Mine will chamber .452 cast bullets in SWC, LFN, and WLN shapes but not WFN. You can use your WFN bullets for light to medium loads by seating them a little deeper and crimping forward of the crimp groove (use a lighter crimp for this). This is NOT recommended for full power loads. Or you can size them smaller so they will chamber normally. I don't know how small. I stopped using WFN in my FA 454.

Oscar,
I have exactly the same experience with all bullet types you mentioned. I am keen to try .451" - .4515" sizer, hoping that this could solve my WFN problem.
Cheers
