I have a cow elk tag in effect now, but won't be able to do any more hunting till the 19th when my buck tag opens up. I've been working on a load with the Lil Gun powder that I picked up a couple days ago, and just about have it dialed in. Its a 440gr wfngc from Cast Performance, and its sitting on top of 26gr +/- of powder. Should put me somewhere in the upper 1100's to lower 1200's fps, which should do great!

So the first to fall will hopefully be a buck or a cow. I don't care which as both will put food in the freezer!!

Thank you! It's been a LOT of fun. Can't shoot it enough. My first hunting season with it starts Saturday. Deer and elk are on the hit list. If it's within 100 yards, it will be the Brute Squad that will take care of business. Anything beyond that and it will be the 460 S&W.

That is a very nice revolver. Jack does awesome work. My BFR in 500jrh is due back in the middle of next month. Bang one with that beast(sorry...Brute Squad) and show us some pictures!!! Hope to be able to post one of my own.
