I've been on the site for about a year now and haven't seen too many Jayhawkers on here. I have been hunting small game with a .22lr pistol for a couple years now and this past year picked up a rebolver and have been trying to step up my game so I can pursue bigger game. With Kansas new cartridge laws I wonder if more hunters will be trying handguns for their weapon of choice. Lets hear from you Kansas hunters.

I am a LIFETIME JAYHAWKER!!! I was born in Fredonia, and always call Kansas my home. I lived in Johnson from the time I was 2 till I went to college. I now live in Colorado, but my home is in Kansas.

I know the feeling about Kansas being home, I go to other states and even another country and although theres been a lot of beautiful country out there I find myself wanting to get back home. These days of politicians talking about wanting gun control really makes me proud that Kansas is suck a gun friendly state.

Yeah, I agree. Kansas never has, so far, had any issues with gun control. I work in Colorado, I live in Colorado, but my heart is always in Kansas. Its not the most beautiful place in the world, but sometimes, ya just can't beat home.
