Just ordered the Ultra Dot 30 for my BFR 500JRH. I know they come with rings but seem to remember hearing they were not the best. Want light and sturdy without the $150 price tag. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

if you want to run just two rings I've actually had good luck with the 30mm Weaver Quad rings.

I've never had any trouble with the Ultradot rings -- have run two and three.

Same here.

Rod, too.

Ultra Dot rings are good ones. I use 3 on everything because they are lightweight and an extra ring doesn't throw off the balance on the gun.

Sounds good. Do they come with 2 or 3 rings? If 2, where did you get the 3rd one?

They come with two. I have more because I have a number of Ultradot sights. You might want to contact them and see if they'll send/sell you an extra one.

Went ahead and got the weaver 4 hole "tactical" rings. I bet I paid an extra $10 for the tactical part....lol. I am so sick of tactical everything.

Mike,

If you get tired of tactical, you can switch to zombie ;^) I was browsing the latest Brownell's flier, and saw that Eotech now has a zombi reticle on one version of their holo sight. Not a painted green logo on the body, but an actual bio-hazard reticle. Sheesh......

Mike,

As to voting, I think we need them, as they are gun owners. As to breeding, maybe we can get some to breed with zombies. Then we can have our own mindless voting block, like the Dems....
