Hey Everyone just curious, how many Savage Striker shooter's we have out there? I love the gun, and it's a lot of fun for a change of pace from a revolver sometimes.
Also, if you do own one, do you plan on hunting with it this season. I know a majority of us on this site are revolver/single shot shooters, but again sometimes it's fun to change thing up..

Those are awesome brother. I love mine, but unfortunately my wife loves it more and has taken it as her own.
Do you big game hunt with them also?

My striker is my LR gun for antelope and deer. Mine is a 260 which IMO is an ideal cartridge for deer and antelope

Sure do. Each of the rear grips have accounted for a few deer. Have only shot a hog with the ml so far

I don't shoot them, just same to collect them.

Mostly I like to customize them with new barrels, brakes, custom wood stocks, etc, etc.

Occasionally I even take them to the rnage to punch paper, or maybe steel.

No, they're not addicitive, I can quit anytie I want. I just don't want to.

Now the latest project is the creation of a very limited edition Custom Striker Pistol Pac's (3 only) with several barrels in bright blue with custom carrying case in the English style.

I'll post pics when completed. Expect them in December.

Yes I have a Striker in .308win. I also have a .243win. barrel for it. And with a little luck I'll have a .270win. barrel for it in a few weeks. I love shooting it and I will be hunting Elk with it the 22nd of this month.
I seem to be starting a collection of different caliber barrels for it. If it wasn't for trying to build a house I would have a bigger collection by now! :-)

Mine is in .308 and has accounted for several deer. It has a 2.5 x 8 Weaver scope and really likes the 165 gr. Sierra sp. and the 130 gr Speer hp shooting both into little bitty clusters. After a
trigger job and some trimming on the stock to stop it from bruising the inside of my rt. thumb it is a sweet shooter. It will not see the deer woods this year as I have a Competitor in 6.5 Rem mag and a .480 Ruger srh to break in.
More toys than time stinks! Not the toys part but the lack of time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
