A word of caution about the Lone Wolf Distributors Glock trigger kit. I installed mine recently, and while shooting the gun I discovered that the trigger safety wasn't engaging everytime. This was happening when I would pull the slide back and slowly let it forward into battery. I found the problem to be the light weight striker spring wasn't strong enough to overcome the trigger spring. This wasn't allowing the trigger to move forward far enough to engage the trigger safety. NOT GOOD! I installed the factory striker spring back in and the problem went away. Of course it would engage it when firing, due to the slide returning to battery at high speed, but when the slide was manually returned to battery, it would not. So PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!!! I could have shot myself very easily while holstering the gun, ect. if I had not noticed the problem.

I actualy run a extra effort striker spring in mine that came with my Rowland kit. I have been told they don't include them anymore but can be picked up from lone wolf. reflex264

Let LWD know about the issue. They will more than likely send you a replacement spring and remedy the issue.

Let me get this right...... you don't like scrapple and beer for breakfast?

I got an email response from LWD today. They gave a ho hum explanation of that's a common problem, and to put the stock striker spring back in. They didn't seem very concerned. I bet they will be when someone blows their foot off or worse....

Not very good CS from LWD, they keep that up and they will eventually see some customer drop off. Thank you for the heads up with the issue.

Here's LWD's response.

Toby-
Thank you for contacting us about this issue. The 4 lb striker spring is known to cause these types of issues in certain applications so we do advise ones to shoot several hundred rounds through without incident so ensure it's reliability. If these types of issues occur, putting the 5lb stock striker spring back in will usually remedy them.
Best Regards,

In other words, carry an unsafe gun for awhile until you shoot 100 or so rounds. Then if you get shot, put the factory spring back in....lol!
