Has anyone had any experience with one, good or bad? I have hunted with T/C Contender & Encore handguns for decades and have recently acquired a Ruger Redhawk 44. Am wanting to venture more in to revolvers, but want to make sure it works for me before I spend the big bucks on red dot sights and custom revolvers.

I recently hunted boar with a borrowed revolver and discovered I could not see the front sight with my glasses on. I use an Aimpoint on my Contender & Encore, but that's a completely different platform as far as being able to rest the forearm solidly.

Thanks,

Jerry

I've had one on my AK-74 all year and no issues to report. Nice, little robust sight. I cannot attest as to how it will stand up to the recoil of a .44 Magnum though. You Tube has a lot of reviews on the TRS-25.

A buddy has one mounted on a full auto reising sub gun in 45acp. I have put at least 1000 rounds thru it myself in the past year. He has probably put 3k thru it as well and it still functions perfectly. Batteries don't last to long though.

Thanks for the reply cfish2! That reminds me that I have heard elsewhere about the short battery life. We got one for my wife on her Thomson Center Contender Pistol barrel. Will have to remember to carry spare batteries.

I am considering one on my Ruger Redhawk as well.
