I shot the 4 pointer opening morning around 7:20 with my Ruger .480. My dad shot his 8 pointer around 9:00 with his Encore 20 GA. Then around 4:50 PM this nice 8 pointer walked in and I dropped him in his tracks with the .480 I love that gun and caliber. Open day between the 2 of us we saw 7 bucks and 1 doe on 60 acres we lease.

Good job with the 480R.
What Bullet and Load are you using?
This year I have a new Mountain Mould casting a 375 grain WFPGC with 70% Meplate. Load is 18.5 Lil Gun for 1200 fps from a 9.5 SRH. A nice pleasant load with plenty of power to spare.
