Non round butt 6". Ivory micarta stocks. I LOVE my octagon with inverted crown!

Ditto on square butt 6". I also prefer ivory micarta. PG is also worth the money, because you can easily buff out scratches with a Scotchbrite maroon pad.

Here's a .475. I wouldn't have ordered Magnaporting, but that's the way it came:

And a view of the ivory micarta on a FG gun:

Here's Glenn's old .500WE set up the way he describes, with inverted crown. Squint, and pretend its a .475. No, its not for resale, Glenn:

Ditto!

Thanks for all the feedback! Going to go with the 6" octagon barrel and black micarta grips and inverted crown in the premier grade. The next 10 months waiting on this is going to feel like an eternity!

I would also order it with the fiber front sight.

Not me, but everyone has their preferences.

I agree! I know that for me, the regular grip shape fits my hands the best of any single action that I have ever held. feels great during recoil too.

And thanks to 500WE's advice with the Scotchbrite pad, I can also attest to how easy it is to touch up any small scratches in the Premier grade finish
