I want a new 22 pistol but I cant find any ammo
Havent seen a brick of 22's in a while.
Oh yea, I saw 2 at a gun show but at 89.99 I'll pass.

Maybe I should hunt squirrels with a 38
At least I can reload them.

I have used a .38 with wadcutters and found it to be very fun and rewarding!

Festus - at least locally, the .22 drought is starting to lift and pricing has started to slide towards pre-panic buying.

Even Midway is showing some bulk packs coming available in the next month or so!

I have been able to find some bulk ammo here and there, but my problem is finding what my guns are most accurate with!...Too bad you can't reload rimfires!..

The 22 drought has started to lift here as well. I like the CCI stuff, and it is finally starting to show up. Bulk packs come up more often, but other than the Remington golden bullet, my MKIII doesn't seem to like them as much as the CCI stuff.

I still have a hard time finding 22mag stuff though. Haven't seen a single box of hornady 22 mag since at least July.

what is the life of a firearm? How many years of enjoyment are they good for? This is but a flash in the pan as it were. Go get your gun, and give us a range report.

I'm glad to hear that some of you are beginning to see some .22 LR coming available. I sure can't see that yet around here.

Go get that .22 you're eyeing...eventually the supply will catch up with demand. I refuse to pay the current exorbitant prices for .22 ammo, so I've not shot my .22s as much as I'd like to either. Nonetheless, I'm not selling any of my guns due to the short-term lack of ammo.
