What are thoughts, on a 357/38spec barrel, was thinking maybe a rifle barrel.with 22 lr being scare and only having a few thou on hand.
How would 38 spec do on sqrls/ rabbits. I know it will kill but dont want too much damage.

I killed a lot of squirrels years ago with a Python using .38 Sp. 158 gr. SWCs loaded to mid range power. Behind the shoulder shots worked quite well without loss of meat.

Yeah, I couldn't find the thread. It may have been a different board, but I couldn't find it anywhere. I would agree, use a non-expanding round. Just the round its self will do the job. Watch your back stop! I know you were, but that tree rat ain't gonna slow that round down much.
